Audley Square
Refurbishment and Alteration of High Specification Listed Townhouse
Audley Square is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse located on one of Mayfair’s prime residential streets. The property was fully refurbished by Rackham to the highest standards prior to new owner occupation.
The scope of works included preservation and conservation works throughout, basement extension, fully integrated building services installation, interior refurbishment complete with audio-visual and home automation systems, and external terracing.
Both the internal and external design is in keeping with the property’s original aesthetics, with the front façade restored to its historical condition. The internal finishing was completed to the highest quality, showcasing bespoke high-polished mahogany joinery, bathrooms and communal areas fully appointed with the finest marble, luxury sanitaryware and soft furnishings.
Interior design features include period mouldings throughout, platinum leaf detailed covings in the main dining room, and full renovation of the grand staircase, complete with intricate gold leaf detailing. The project showcases Rackham’s experience in carefully restoring historical dwellings to the highest standard.
